Classic Harness Vest Service Dog Starter Package:

Our Classic Harness Starter Package gives you everything you need for your service dog at a discount.  Save big, get one of our most popular service dog vests for sale and receive the following in this service dog package. You can also get your dog's name directly embroidered into your new service dog vest if you'd like. Our embroidery offers a beautifully striking contrast that adds that complete look to your new vest. Please note, all embroidery is done in block letters by default.  If you would like your vest embroidered in a cursive font, please request this in the "Order Comments" section during checkout.

Package Number 1 Includes:

  • One (1) of our Service Dog Harness Vests (product SVD-0112) in your choice of color. This item is one of our most popular service dog vests.
  • One (1) Engraved Service Dog Tag (choose from a wide variety of options in the drop-down menu to the right).
  • One (1) ADA Federal Law Information Card (this card is only included for Service Dog Type options)
  • One (1) set of 2 Customized ID Badges (you will need to provide your dog's photo)

Very Important Note:  You will need to get us a photo of your dog for your ID badges.  You can either upload the dog's photo or mail it to our physical location if that is easier.  Whichever way you choose to get your service dog photo to us, you will need to let us know in the check box to the right of your screen.

    The quality and look of the vest is professional and easy to put on your dog. The detail on the vest is outstanding ie stitching, wording, material. My dog did not appear to have a problem with wearing it. The only concern I had is it slips back and to the side even after I adjusted it. The size is correct. I would like to suggest a strap to be added from under neck to the belly ( similiar to a breat collar we use on our horses). I think that would keep it from riding back and side to side. I did adjust the strapes for tightness. Again I am very pleased and will use it in my speech therapy settings.

    The shipping took a while to CA from OH, but it was worth the wait. I wasn't sure about the measurements but the harness has a wide range of adjustment and fits my mid-large dog very well. He finds it comfortable enough to lounge in and wear all day. The ID cards are nice, but kind of "Mickey Mouse". But if you have a letter from a physician to back them up for you individually, they're the easiest way to get your dog officially cleared.

  • Everything A Service Dog and Handler Needs!

    This starter kit is our second one from Pet Joy.

    Our first order was for an "In training" vest. Our furbaby spent six months in that vest, proving she had the gifts needed to be a superb service dog.

    When we were ready for the official vest, we couldn't have been happier to see that along with the vest came an embroidered name of our furbaby [extra minimal fee], ID tags and an authorized government card explaining the laws for service dogs.

    The two personal ID cards not only allow you to put your kid's pic, name and handlers name and info on it; the cards are made from hard plastic, which should help them to last indefinitely.

    I'd recommend this package to anyone looking forward to making their dog official in the Service Dog category.

    Pet Joy does a great job with this equipment, and everything in the packet is from top notch material and workmanship.

    Ordered several of these vests for my customer, they are very high quality, well fitting, outstanding quality, well priced! Very happy to receive quickly. The patch for Service dog was well made, and looked more professional than pictured, wonderful job done on the embroider name and the quality of the fabric, and was well placed on the vest Wilson appreciated, happy with the prompt service and the quality of the vest is very good.     I am really overjoyed after receiving my Service Dog starter package. It is nice to have picture ID with explanations of what a service dog is and the laws pertaining to their use. I wasn't allowed into a restaurant last Spring and wished I would have had the ID. The vest is the best looking vest I have seen. It is really visible and having her name on the vest saves me questions. Also, putting the Customer PTSD Service Dog patch also elimates people asking me why I need a service dog. The handle comes in handy when she shys away from the escalator when I haven't taken her on one in a long time like we did today Christmas Shopping at the Mall. The kit was definitely worth the money and better than anything I have ever seen. I have retired the old vest for good! Also, the blue is a vibrant color and people have commented on how nice it looks. You won't be sorry if you order one.

    i thought it looked nice online.. then got it and it was perfect. the size chart really helped and fits perfectly! the cards were done nicely and he looks so handsome in his vest!i loved that i could choose the color i wanted.. i have a black and tan german shepherd so the yellow looks so good on him!

    I am amazed at this company. I ordered the product late one night, and it had shipped the next day. It is an amazing product as well, my only complaint is that the handle on the vest is out of reach. I have to bend over to hang on and I am only 5'3" and my dog is about the height of a lab. But other than that, its amazing.

    Love the service dog vest and other things that came with this package. The only thing that was confusing is that when I ordered, somehow I got two of the same patches. So now I have to order another patch that says "service dog" so I am now spending more money. But the vest is perfect.
