Now you can get your dog's new Wiredog brand service dog vest personalized. When you choose to have this cape personalized, we will embroider the text on the left-hand side of the vest on the colored portion. The result is a wonderful contrast that looks striking. Light vests will be embroidered in Black thread and our darker colored vests will be embroidered in White thread. Please note, all embroidery is done in block letters by default.  If you would like your vest embroidered in a cursive font, please request this in the "Order Comments" section during checkout.

This Mesh Service Dog Cape Vest is one of our most popular service dog vests and is our original design. A great everyday vest, it's comfortable for your dog and lightweight. Constructed from two layers of heavy-duty Mesh and reinforced and styled on the sides with tons of color choices of high-denier fabric, this vest will last for years to come.

Comfort and style are important - safety is more important for both you and your dog. That's why our Mesh Service Dog Vest Cape features 360 degrees of reflective trim that is visible from every angle.

This service dog vest is equipped with two straps for a perfect fit. The one strap slips over your dog's head and will lay across the front of the chest. The other strap will wrap around your dog's girth and attach with a durable plastic quick release buckle for easy on and easy off operation. Both straps on this vest are fully adjustable as well. These Mesh Service Dog Cape Vests include one 2x4 patch of your choice stitched on the vest.

A note about sizing - please make sure to measure your dog's girth, TWICE, for an accurate measurement. To do this, use a SOFT FABRIC measuring tape and measure your dog around the chest just behind the front legs. Make sure your dog is standing up while you are doing this. You can also circle your dog's chest with a leash and then measure the leash where you mark it.

    Our dog loves her vest. We both noticed that she seems to walk different when she's wearing it, like she feels more important. It's easy to put on and take off but it's so comfortable she doesn't mind wearing it at all. The other one we had seemed to bother her a little. It doesn't bind or sag at all and was easy to adjust to fit.

    About 5 years ago we adopted our border collie, Sweet Silas Mango, from the SPCA. They had found him running around the streets of North Charleston, SC and took him in as a stray. He was 1.5 then and we had no early history for him. He is a gentle, loving dog (our children use him as a pillow) but can be reactive when approached by people he doesn't know. We wanted this vest (and chose the DO NOT PET patch) as way of letting people know not to approach Mango. This vest protects us too! We also went with the STOP Do Not Pet tag add-on! We chose the color yellow for the vest (for warning) and it looks so handsome against his black and white fur!

    We ordered the same vest from another company that was a little too big. They would not sell the vest without the tags. PetJoy had the same vest sold by itself and it is the perfect fit.     I love the vest and am happy with it for being the right size and fits him well. I like how the word Service Dog was sewn across the back of it and how light-weight the vest is. I love that it lets him breath and is adjustable but yet the clips stay right where they should once adjusted. I wasn't aware that the D ring would be on the right side and I wish I would have let PetJoy know that my dog heels to the left so I needed the D-ring on the opposite side of the vest for attaching his hard plastic tag that says not to pet him. This is my mistake for not asking or questioning PetJoy regarding the placement of the D-ring.

    good price. looks good. the only thing i am not crazy about is the design. it doesnt stay on the dog well, particular when going up and down stairs. it doesnt require much fixing, but i can tell the dog gets annoyed.

    Top-Notch craftsmanship, at it's finest! Light-weight, and a perfect fit, on my Australian Shepherd, Sallee!! When I first placed her Mesh Cape Vest with tags on her, Sallee sprang into 'work mode'!!! She sits 'ten-foot tall in the saddle', and insists that I place it on her, each morning!!!
