I purchased the fleece strap cover because my service dog is an American Staffordshire terrier with hair about the length of an eyelash, so I wanted her to be comfortable when she wears her vest.

I am so glad I purchased this along with the harness vest. I don't know if it would have been needed, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. The vest does not slip or slide around and it seems to be extremely comfortable on the dog. Petjoy even had it put on the harness before they sent it. Just another example of how they have gone the extra mile in customer service.
