The Palisades Pack is built for hard use in rugged conditions over multi-day backpacking trips when extra carrying capacity is needed. This pack carries canine essentials such as food, water, bowls, treats, first-aid supplies, and toys, and even has on-board collapsible water bottles for hydration in dry conditions.

in-between sizes: Choose the smaller pack for a lighter load and less bulk. Please do not use saddlebag capacity as your only sizing consideration; use the girth fit for best results.

Outfitting my Service Dog

I am very pleased with the pack. My service dog, however is slowly getting adjusted to the new fitting style. I am fully confident that he will adjust to it soon. He's only 2yrs and 5 mths. I am very confident he will adapt to this change as he has many others. Thanks for the great style design of this pack!

When I ordered these 2 bags (for my german shepherd-rottweiler mix and my malinwa-st. bernard mix) I had high hopes and I have to admint that ruff wear got it right with the extremely heavy duty stitching and fabric. The bag feels as tough as my hike pack, which is impressive! The handles are very strong, the padding is great! The loop is actually metal though it looked like plastic at first, the bladders are tough and the bags can adjust to fit rather well on both my boys.**Note: if your dog is skinny/underweight but has the chest diameter of a certain size, consider getting a size smaller. Both my boys are a little on the skinny side (to my dismay) and while their chest fills out the front, their back would suit a size smaller.Pet Joy was also very friendly and helpful when it came to my purchase questions, and the standard shipping was fast. Thank you!

I really like this pack, and petjoy sells it at a great price. I bought it for my malinois and he loves having a job to do. The harness and pack is comfortable on him too. I ordered a medium since I went by the girth size and found it a bit small for him. But overall it is a great piece of equipment!
