The Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on a leash.
Why it works: Traditional harnesses can actually encourage dogs to pull harder because of the opposition reflex. That's the reflex that makes sled dogs do what they do. The Easy Walk Harness' unique front-chest leash attachment stops pulling by tightening slightly across your dog's chest and shoulder blades.
The gentle pressure steers your dog to the side and redirecting his attention back towards you. The Easy Walk Harness never causes coughing, gagging, or choking because the chest strap rests low across the breastbone, not on the delicate tracheal area.

I thought the item was all black but instead it arrived with part of it being silver......not acceptable.

I like the harness

I initially thought I bought the gentle leader and was disappointed that I got it wrong. When I tried the easy walk harness on my dog, Pepper, he did very well with it. He heeled nicely and he didn't fight the harness. Pepper is my service dog and I look forward to using it while running with my electric chair.

Fitting Easy Walk Harness.

Although I measured my dog according to instructions, still I ordered wrong size harness which contributed to difficulty in fitting. As I recall, I measured her girth, but she is a broad-chested dog The belly and girth straps fit, the strap across chest front was too short. Adjustments were complicated. My son swears by this harness and I hope to have similar results with my muscular dog, who, when not in Service gear, tends to pull.

The size is great if you follow the sizing chart. The quality is amazing and no more pulling! Much more effective than prong collars, head collars and flat collars. My dog and I love it.
