This Mesh Service Dog Cape Vest is one of our most popular and is our original design.  A great everyday vest, it's comfortable for your dog and lightweight.  Constructed from two layers of heavy-duty Mesh and reinforced and styled on the sides with 13 color choices of high-denier fabric, this vest will last for years to come.

Comfort and style are important - safety is more important for both you and your dog.  That's why our Mesh Service Dog Cape service features 360 degrees of reflective trim that is visible from every angle.  

This service dog cape vest is equipped with two straps for a perfect fit.  The one strap slips over your dog's head and will lay across the front of the chest.  The other strap will wrap around your dog's grith and attach with a durable plastic quick release buckle for easy on and easy off operation.  Both straps on this vest are fully adjustable as well.  These Mesh Service Dog Cape Vests include one 2x4 patch of your choice stitched on the vest.

We've also made it easier for you to save even more!  Wiredog has decided to offer all of our Engraved Metal Service Dog and Working Dog tags at a discount when purchased with a vest.  These are a great addition and when you order the tag with your vest, you save big!  Choose from all the styles you see in the drop down menu to the right.

A note about sizing - please make sure to measure your dog's girth, TWICE, for an accurate measurement.  To do this, use a SOFT FABRIC measuring tape and measure your dog around the chest just behind the front legs.  Make sure your dog is standing up while you are doing this.  You can also circle your dog's chest with a leash and then measure the leash where you mark it.

Harper Lee was not fond of her other Service Vest. When I introduced her to this mesh vest tonight - she jumped up and down and was so excited! She nearly jumped right in to it!!

I like these vets, they keep the dogs nice and cool. My only complaint is after washing it one time the small reflective strips on either side came loose/

I just got my great pyr her "summer" vest and it is AMAZING.  I live in Boston and flew to Florida to do a triathlon with her and it gave her free mobility no rubbing and kept her much cooler.  Kira is a happy girl. custom fit was perfect and pet joy was a pleasure to work with.  They really care about the animals comfort and product quality.
